Save money on tools, equipment and more…

This Apprenticeship covers the manufacture and production of a range of building products like bricks, tiles, plaster, cement, pipes and other construction materials that make up our houses and buildings. As you might imagine, the building products industry is central to our society, and is made up of a wide range of different companies.
As an apprentice, you could be working as a building products operative and have a hand in producing these materials. During your Apprenticeship, you could learn how to do all sorts: load and operate mixers; crush raw materials; handle equipment like cranes and kilns; and deliver finished goods to construction sites.
On the Advanced Apprenticeship, you’ll learn more technical procedures, take on a more supervisory role, and be well placed for further education or career progression. Health and safety is of course central to operating safely in this area, so it will play a significant part in your job.
Building products is a specialised industry with a need for a younger, trained workforce – it’s a perfect time to get involved. Jobs are found across the country, but particularly in the North and Midlands.

Apprentice Zone is dedicated to helping young people understand the opportunities available to them across the apprenticeship sector by providing information, guidance, advice and some fantastic ways to save money.
For many young people, the thought of continuing in full time education through a college or university is completely uninspiring.
Apprenticships provide a gateway to learn a trade, earn money and gain formal qualifications.
Apprentice Zone also provides a portal for commercial organisations to promote their products directly to school leavers.
